THE GENEROUS BRITON - LOUGHBOROUGH
The Generous Briton public house has been part of the Loughborough landscape since 1837, and while famous university Alumni, Lord Sebastian Coe or Paula Radcliffe may well have spent more time on the track than at the bar, the long awaited refurbishment of both bars offered the opportunity to create individual environments housed under one roof.
The darker Regency Bar with its Esher-esque floor design had a multi-coffered three tone ceiling installed while the lighter brighter Ashby Lounge retained original paneling that was capped with an illuminated copper frieze
